My name is Caroline Norwood, I am an Education Coordinator at El Hogar Del Nino. I have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a ECE Credential and Infant Toddler level 5. I have 12 years of teaching experience and 4 years' experience with being an Education Coordinator. My philosophy is that children are encouraged to learn and grow by providing a foundation of developmentally appropriate experiences where all children can succeed in a safe nurturing environment. I believe children learn best through meaningful play and encourages curiosity, discovery and problem solving which allows individual growth and development of a positive self-image. I enjoy traveling and exploring nature.

My name is Claudia Araceli Lopez, I was born in Mexico City, I studied at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Sociology, I also studied at the Escuala Bancaria Comercial and I obtained an Accountant certification. I have more than 20 years of experience as an Operations Coordinator. I have been working at El Hogar Del Nino for 8 years as a Facilities Coordinator. I like to swim and cook for my family and friends.

José Limas is the HR Coordinator at El Hogar del Nino. José was born in Mexico and immigrated to the US when he was twelve years old. He grew up in the Northwest Suburbs with his three younger siblings and his mom. He now resides in Chicago with his plants.
Jose hopes to uses his childhood experiences to better help those in the community he spends time in specially the Latinx community. He is very passionate in his belief that society can progress in a positive way.
- Viviana VergaraHome Visiting Coordinator
Viviana Vergara has worked in the field of early childhood for the past seven years. First as a Parent educator, then as a Family Support Specialist and now she has transitioned into the role of Coordinator for our Home Base Program. Viviana is the daughter of immigrant parents and grew up on the south side of Chicago. One of her goals within her work is to be a support and guide for families in her community in the hopes of creating a positive cycle of growth for our future.
